Welcome to my multiverse!
My Ability List
This is what i leveled up so far:
Things i can do
- My main skill lies in creating original universes. If you are looking to start a new IP, if you want the universe in your game to be fresh and original, you came to the right place! I have lots of finished works (you can look for short descritions in the section ), and if those won't satisfy your needs - I am always willing to create some more!
- I can also work with existing universe, by either improving it as much as i can, or just writing a story that would fit into such setting.
- Already have a story and need a side quests? Or maybe a cool character? Lore details? Maybe even item descriptions? I can do anything of that. Also I can check your story for various plot holes and other possible mistakes, like overusing clichés.
- Need help with game design? I have massive expirience in both online and offline games, know what makes them tick, and what kills them right off the bat, and will offer creative and simple solutions for your problems.
What makes my work good?
- Attention to details. In my worlds, everything exists for a reason; every character acts according to its personality, and every event, even small stuff like notes and journals matter in the big picture. When it comes to the size, I prefer quality over quantity, making sure that players will enjoy every bit of my creations; there is no "filler" content in my works.
- Originality. I want to tell stories that will leave a lasting impression, and I want to give players a unique experience that they did not have before. Don't let your games stagnate—I will surprise the players with unexpected, innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of the craft. With so much experience gained by studying countless games, books, and movies, I can easily avoid overused and boring clichés, identify possible plot holes, and keep the overall quality of the stories on a very high level.
- Believable worlds. For example, do you know the movie called "Quite Place"? Did you ever wonder what monsters eat, because if they attack everything that makes a sound, they should have eliminated all life forms in the area? Or why air forces, unreachable to them could not easily deal with them after luring them into open area with any sound? Or why characters don't even bother carrying noise-making items to distract monsters in case of danger?
This kind of questions is what I ask myself in every story that I am creating to make sure that my worlds have no logical flaws, making them as immersive as possible.
- Adaptive approach. I can easily shape my stories to fit for almost any kind of gameplay, budget, visual style, etc - anything that your studio will\can create.
- Impressive plots. Any decent writer can write a good dialogue, but it won't save a bad story. If your main plotline is bland, if your twists are easily foreseeable, you won't create a memorable experience that players will cherish, recommend to others, and want to experience again. If you do not have a good tale to tell, I got you covered! Shocking, teaching, or even just entertaining - my stories certainly won't be forgettable.
- I am excellent in the Russian language and somewhat decent in Ukrainian and English and can also offer help with both translation and adaptation.
Genres i work with
- The main genres are Sci-fi, Horror, Fantasy.
- Comedy is not out of the question (though my sense of humour are quite questionable)
- Drama is possible, but overall slice of life genre is not something i do well.
- Would like to avoid most of historical themes, sports, politics, also hateful or propagandist themes.
- Would like to avoid games with no gameplay (visual novels, interactive books, etc), or primitive gameplay (arcades, clickers, platformers, arpg). Walking simulators are fine, since they are usually a story-driven expirience.
- Mobile games are questionable. I don't have a smartphone and never played any mobile game, i don't know how they work and what drives them. Also it seems like it's a bad place for a story-driven expirience. But if you still want me to be involved - we can discuss that.
